Recently, the Department of Labor (DOL) enacted the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA). This Act requires employers with less than 500 employees to provide their employees with paid sick leave and expanded family and medical leave for reasons related to COVID-19.
According to the DOL, these provisions will be applicable from April 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020.
